What and How?

Useful when doing “ on the day quick revisions”, i.e., a last-minute group booking, or a cancelled wedding party. We recommend you review and adjust the figures in the graph or table daily to ensure the Live forecast for the coming 3 weeks is a accurate as possible. Switch between table and graph views with the icon in the top left corner. Default setting is pre-set to display PMI Prediction, Forecasted pickups, Forecasted negative pickups, OTB and Live forecast. Adjust which variables you want to include in the graph by clicking on them in the legend. Hover over the variables (when in active form) in the sub header to highlight it in the graph. All changes made reflects in the table. Changes cannot be made to passed days, only current and future days. Revenue changes not made here. Use Reset to reset changes not yet saved.

The graph also highlights all the dates with active alerts as well as highlighting all public holidays in that specific period. Click on a specific alert icon for more details. Adjust pickups, (total segment only), or Use PMI Prediction.

Displayed at the bottom of the screen, is Rooms OTB change in the Rooms OTB last X days, i.e. displays the change compared to 7 days ago. Personalize the amount of days you want to compare in Personal View Options. Default is 7 days.

Detailed description of the comparative data.

• Use PMI Prediction ( in the top right corner of the screen),and these figures populate. Used by properties that adjust on total segment level and segment level.
• Click Reset to undo changes made on the screen.
• Save on the screen is now activated. Use it and changes made displays in both the graph and table.
• By hovering over a bar you can view a snapshot of comparative data (legends activated) on that specific day

• Auto icon – PMI updates the Live forecast. Can be changed to manual mode in the table.

• Manual icon – PMI will not update the Live forecast, as its manually updated by the property. Can be changed to robot (PMI updates) in the table.

• Import icon – The Live forecast is imported from external source. Can be changed in the table.

• During the last update PMI found too few historical days to compare the date to. Review the selected season for the current date.

• Notes – All notes added/edited in table can be viewed on the graph.
• Rooms OTB change last 7 days – Displays the change compared to 7 days ago. Green color indicates an increase in rooms and red color a decline in rooms. The darker the color, the larger the change.

Adjust pickup on total segment level only (the entire lump sum)

1. Zoom functionality

This allows a user to zoom in on a specific date to make changes to ARR and Pickups in the graph. Remove PMI Prediction legend to make changes easily on the graph.

• Click on Enable Zoom
• ARR live forecast is now activated as its not activated in the default setting for the graph
• The zoom calendar is activated, default is on 7 days closet to the actual date
• Choose the specific date you want to focus on
• Hover over the light blue bar (tip of it). After a few seconds a light blue rimmed circle appears along with an indicator. Increase or decrease your figures by moving the light blue bar. Save in the top right corner of the screen. Changes are now visible in the graph, table and various other modules i.e. Flash Report.
• Follow the same steps for ARR, hover over the light blue dot that is connected to the light blue dotted line and increase or decrease your figures by moving it up or down.

2. Use PMI prediction (in the top right corner of the screen), and it populates the entire period you choose. Save in the top corner of the screen is activated from grey to blue. Don’t forget to save.

3. Click on a specific date (a blue bar), or directly on a red icon and a popup appears. Adjust Live forecast includes a snapshot of date chosen, with lead time information and on the book room nights (OTB RN). Adjust Pickup for Room nights and ARR by using “mouse” or “tab” function. The similar days range for lead time(the yellow coloring in the popup) is also highlighted. This is the lowest and highest OTB displayed from the available source dates, which then creates a best/worst OTB range. Make your changes to the Live forecast by adding in your numbers in the input box. Save

Calculations

What is the PMI prediction algorithm? When clicking on PMI prediction (the empty purple rimmed circle on the purple line) on a specific date, the PMI forecast algorithm appears. Here you have an overview of which historical dates was used to predict the day and those not used.
